End of Course 1

I had my last cake class of course 1. We learned the rose and they were pretty hard. My cake turned out beautiful though and I was really proud of it. It was the best one yet. Hopefully, one day I will get really good at this. Course 2 starts in January and I'm looking forward to it.

Cake Class

I am taking a cake decorating class this month. Tonight we had our second class. We had to bring a cake with homemade icing. I absolutely created a mess Sunday night while blending my powdered sugar in the Kitchen Aid. We were warned to put a towel over it before turning that mixer on...but I forgot and had powdered sugar all over my self and all over the kitchen. It all turned out okay. This was the end result. Not to bad for the first time. I have learned a lot in just two classes and have really enjoyed it.

A Wonderful Birthday!

I had a great 29th birthday! Justin & I took off work and spent the whole day together, it was so nice. Sunday we went out to eat with some friends and it was a great time. Gloria made me this CUTE Yorkie cake...thanks so much & thanks Justin for giving her the idea. We are going out to dinner to celebrate with my family this upcoming weekend. I have the best family & friends!!

Ava

We babysit Ava for a few hours while her Mommy took pics. She is such a happy baby and we both adore her. She had lots of fun helping with laundry, playing in the dog cage and going up & down the stairs.
