1st OB Visit with Dr. Dudley

May 13th we had our first OB visit with Dr. Dudley to have our first sonogram. At first Dr. Dudley couldn't find the fetus (baby) so she had me go in another room and see the tech. She was able to find the baby right away and I was so relieved. We got to see the little heartbeat on the monitor and it was amazing! However, we should have been almost 8 weeks at this appointment, but the fetus was only measuring 5 weeks 6 days. I was a little worried about this, but the Dr. Dudley said everything looked good and that my gestational period may have been later in my cycle which would cause the difference in size.

New Due Date - January 7th
